Do you have enough capacity for schooling in your locality? If yes, how much?

We have a good locality for schooling as we have observed that our area is having a lot of facilities. We are having park, play ground and sports club to help the student's mental activeness. I have one suggestion to government that they should take some important actions so that our government schools students will also get advanced tools and techniques of learning in the school. Private schools have all the facilities which are necessary to all round development of the students. In our locality we have cleanliness and healthy environment. Parents are also aware about their children. For the safety purpose they drop them in the school and also pick them from the school.

We have some authentic information from New Education Policy 2020 .

These are-

1. Schooling from the age of 3 years.

2. 5+3+3+4 education structure.

3. No rigid separation between Science, Arts and Commerce.

4. Internship and vocational education from class 6.

5. Board exams will be low stakes.etc.

As we have two types of schools. One is government and the second is private. We have both the schools in our locality. As we have visited there we observed that as per the rules of NCF 2005 the ratio of teacher and student is 30:1. Students are also having the books according to the curriculum and as per NEP and NCERT rules and regulations. Right to Education Act, 2009 gives right of children to free and compulsory education, admission to all and minimum standards are set for a better education system.

These all are the things by which we can prove that we have a good locality in which we have enough capacity of schooling.

Information from different sources:-

Parental choice of school is one of the main platform of government education policy and is the center piece of the parents charter. But, Sociological understanding of choice and choice- making is woefully underdeveloped. This paper draws on an ESRC (Economic and Security Review Commission) study of market forces in education to explore social class variations in choice of school in one specific locality. The complexity of choice making is portrayed using data from interviews with parents and it is argued that middle class parents are taking full advantage of 'the market' to sustain or re- assert their class advantages.

Circuits of schooling: A Sociological exploration of parental choice of school in social contexts Stephen J Ball, Richard Bowe, Sharob Gewirtz. The sociological review 43 (1), 52- 78, 1995 here we have the views of these people. Education is the only area of welfare in which participation is legal requirement. Almost everyone attends school for at least eleven years of their life. Much longer educational careers are common. Education is a critical site for the social construction of subjects and subject positions. Its structural importance to the welfare state and its cultural contribution to the construction of subjects combine to make it a key institution for understanding welfare restructuring.

As we have mentioned above we have two types of schools:-

1. Government School

2. Private School

Government Schools:-

Students get lots of facilities without paying the extra fee like:-

1. Students get every study facility here without paying money like books, library, lab and trained teachers. In Government schools most of the time they give priority to hindi language that's why students feel problem in English language.

2. The government schools have sport equipment and a large area for the sports activities. It helps students for a better future in sports.

3. Government schools also provide basic facilities with good quality like drinking water, clean classrooms, big ground and clean washrooms.

4. In Government schools Cultural and National programs are organized. So, that students get to know about Indian culture. They also celebrate some world's festivals.

Private Schools:-

1. Private schools provide the study facilities with charges only. The medium of teaching is English only.

2. They provide some mini or indoor sports equipments as they don't have a large area. Some schools have a big play ground and swimming pool also for recreation activities.

3. They also provide basic facilities like drinking water, clean classrooms, clean washrooms and medical emergencies.

4. In Private schools we also have Cultural and National programs. As it is important for the students to know about Indian culture and history. They also celebrate some world's festivals.
